On my Wishlist (#3)

On My Wishlist is a weekly meme hosted by Book Chick City, it is a place for all us book lovers to share which books we are lusting after, whether old, new or future releases.
Since seeing my wonderful blogger friend Viv over at Serendipity reviewed this book on her blog I have wanted to read it, It sounds amazing and I cant wait to get my hands on it!
Vaclav and Lena – Haley Tanner
June 2nd (William Heinemann)
Set in New York’s Russian émigré community, Vaclav & Lena is a timeless love story from a stunningly gifted young novelist. Vaclav and Lena, both the children of Russian émigrés, are at the same time from radically different worlds. While Vaclav’s burgeoning love of performing magic is indulged by hard-working parents pursuing the American dream, troubled orphan Lena is caught in a domestic situation no child should suffer through. Taken in as one of her own by Vaclav’s big-hearted mother, Lena might finally be able to blossom; in the naive young magician’s eyes, she is destined to be his “faithful assistant”…but after a horrific discovery, the two are ripped apart without even a goodbye. Years later, they meet again. But will their past once more conspire to keep them apart
This Next one has been on my wishlist for a while but it hasn’t even got a UK publisher. I reckon I’m gunna have to get it imported though as it sounds sooooo good!
Hourglass – Myra McEntire
14th July (Egmont US)
“One hour to rewrite the past . . .
For seventeen-year-old Emerson Cole, life is about seeing what isn’t there: swooning Southern Belles; soldiers long forgotten; a haunting jazz trio that vanishes in an instant. Plagued by phantoms since her parents’ death, she just wants the apparitions to stop so she can be normal. She’s tried everything, but the visions keep coming back.
So when her well-meaning brother brings in a consultant from a secretive organization called the Hourglass, Emerson’s willing to try one last cure. But meeting Michael Weaver may not only change her future, it may change her past.
Who is this dark, mysterious, sympathetic guy, barely older than Emerson herself, who seems to believe every crazy word she says? Why does an electric charge seem to run through the room whenever he’s around? And why is he so insistent that he needs her help to prevent a death that never should have happened?”

And my final wishlist pick for today is one I’ve been lusting after for a while since it was huge on the blogosphere when it first came out…

I’m here…
sort of.
Find Cameron.
He knows.
I shouldn’t be writing.
Don’t tell.
They’ll hurt you.

Now Kate has no choice but to prove once and for all that Grace’s death was more than just a tragic accident. But secrets haunt the halls of her elite private school. Secrets people will do anything to protect. Even if it means getting rid of the girl trying to solve a murder..”
