Letterbox Love

Letterbox Love (#80)

Letterbox Love is a weekly feature that is hosted by Lynsey at Narratively Speaking and is a way for us to share the books that come through our letterbox, galleys and e-books (through our electronic letterbox) and any other bookish goodies that we want to tell you about.

I’ve been playing with photo editing apps on my phone following on from an awesome session at the Blog On Conference. I really hope my books covers are much clearer now – they’re so pretty they deserve to be clear, but I’m still learning!
For Review:

I have actually already read this as I took part in the Liars Live Read over on twitter yesterday. I actually didn’t like it anywhere near as much as I hoped or as much as other people have but my review will be up at the beginning of June so come back then for my thoughts! Thanks for sending anyway Hot Key Books!

I had Katy on the blog this week talking about The Hidden Princess amongst other things and I definitely can’t wait to read this after her answers to my questions! It is the second in her Hidden Among Us series and it follows a different character from that book so I am very intrigued to see if I love it as much as I did Hidden Among Us! Thanks to Walker for sending this over!

This was a surprise bit of post from Harper Collins, thanks guys, and is a spin off from the Skulduggery Pleasant series. I am actually not going to get to it any time soon because despite it being a spin off, I want to read the SP books first. I will keep it to one side to read once I’ve read those though!

I have a terrible affliction, it involves not being able to go into an independent book store and not buy a book… A couple of weekends ago I went to St Annes for a walk on the beach. We just had to pop in and see Katie from Storytellers Inc, naturally, and I ended up buying this. I loved the other Phil Earle books I’ve read and despite not actually knowing what this is about, other than a boy wrapped in bubble wrap, I really wanted to read it so I just had to buy it! I hope its as good as his others (I’m sure it will be!)
