Letterbox Love

Letterbox Love (#56)

Letterbox Love is a weekly feature that hosted by Lynsey at Narratively Speaking and basically, the idea came out of a discussion with other UK book bloggers about the need to do a weekly meme with more of a British feel to it. Therefore, Letterbox Love was born and the logo was lovingly designed by Dark Readers. Letterbox Love is a way for us to share the books that come through our letterbox, galleys and e books (through our electronic letterbox) and any other bookish goodies that we want to tell you about.

For Review:

So last week I was treated to a copy of the sixth book in the Gallagher Girls series, the wonderful, fabulous Cait from Orchard Books knew I was missing a copy of the fourth book and that was why I hadn’t completed the series so far and offered me a copy of it! Thank you sooo much Cait & Orchard πŸ™‚

Eeeeeee, I know I don’t have to say anything about this one, readers of YA lit and bloggers reading this will understand my excitment at finally having this book to read! Thanks to Walker for sending it over!

Laure Eve is an awesome person and I was lucky enough to meet her before I knew she was about to become a debut author, (she is brilliant to follow on twitter and have a natter to so make sure you do that!) and when I found out I knew I had to get my hands on her book as soon as it was out! Thankfully the guys at Hot Key sent it over early for review, yay!

I liked the first Debutanes as it really surprised me so I am looking forward to this even htough I didn’t expect it to come through, thanks MacMillan!

I have a mission to read anything that has Neil Gaiman’s name on it and this book is just one of the many, many out there! However its also fully of other scary, halloween-y type stories and I love those types of stories so I wanted to read it anyway! Thanks Hot Key!

Another sent from MacMillan (Thanks again!) that I was wasn’t expected but am excited for, even more so when it was pointed out to me that a quote of my review for Forget Me Never was on the press release with it! Yay! Gina Blaxhill is a pretty awesome author so I can’t wait to get reading this

I have no idea what this is about and hadn’t heard of it until it arrived, thankfully I like what I read from the blurb and though it sounds a bit love story-ish I am definitely willing to give it a go! Thanks Quercus for sending this through

Another I haven’t heard of until now but one that sounds interesting… I think its a little young, kinda higher middle grade but seems like it could be quite interesting from flicking through it. Thanks David Fickling Books

I read another Penelope Crumb book early this year and loved it, I found a very keen youngster to pass it on to who apparently loved it too and I am looking forward to making her day when I give her this one too. Thanks Quercus
