Letterbox Love (#38)

Welcome to Letterbox Love, this is a UK meme, hosted by the lovely Lynsey at Narratively Speaking and inspired by The Story Siren’s In My Mailbox, where we highlight the books we got in the post and beyond.

For Review:
This list gets more and more exciting as you look down it doesn’t it? First off, The Wild Boy is a victorian freak show book, what more could I want? The wonderful Hannah from Walker asked me if I wanted a copy of this and I just had to say yes, it comes out in April so look out for my reviews nearer the time!
Then there is Curse of Kings, this is Alex Barclay’s first YA I believe… he’s an adult author apprently but I don’t really follow that kinda thing closely, this sounds fantastic and I showed the awesome trailer off yesterday on the blog, thanks to HarperCollins for Curse of Kings!
If you Find Me was sent from Indigo but on behalf of Lovereading4kids I will be publishing my review on there and my blog sometime in March I believe…
Finally, ahh, who doesn’t love John Barrowman?! Hollow Earth has been on my wishlist for a while but then the publishers, Buster, offered me both books for review and I just had to say yes! Look out for my reviews later this month or early next!
I went to a Oxford University Press event just a couple of days ago and the panel was awesome and included Tim Bowler, Sally Prue, Gillian Cross and Geraldine McCaughrean. I have notes to write up a event review for you guys but these were the books I bought. They are both singed, as were my other books by the authors which my sister bought.
