Letterbox Love (#29) The ‘much better than last week’ week

Welcome to Letterbox Love, this is a UK meme, hosted by the lovely Lynsey at Narratively Speaking and inspired by The Story Sirens In My Mailbox, where we highlight the books we got in the post and beyond.

Some beauties to add to my shelf this week, but only if I get Valerie the Velociraptor away from them quick!!
For Review:
So this week I got the first in the Midnight Dragonfly series from Quercus, I got the second book last week which was unsolicited but I asked for the first in order to read them both and it arrived pretty much straight away, so thank you for that Quercus!
Then I got the second in the Murder Notebooks series from Bloomsbury. If you can remember I loved the first book and can’t wait to read this one!
Last week I got a ebook version of The Madness Underneath but as I am appalling bad at actually reading my ebooks I asked if it was possible to get a hard copy, so the wonderful people, Rosi mainly, at Harper Collins sorted this out those bloggers who requested hard copies!
Finally I was emailed about Coda recently, which is from Running Press Teens, I’ve not heard of the publisher but I am always happy to help smaller, newer pubs out with reviews, especially if the book sounds as awesome as this!
I also received a flyer from Abrams and Chronicle about Splintered, which is an amazing sounding debut from AG Howard… I cannot wait to read it and if anyone else feels the same way there is a competition to be ne of the first readers! From now until 11.59pm on 14th December you can go to www.facebook.com/ackidsuk and enter to win a signed hardback copy of the book, poster and bookmark. ten runners up will also will exclusive ‘secret key’ necklaces.
