In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi, The Story Siren, you probably already know that but if you don’t, go here and find out more!!
This weeks mailbox was an awesome one with so many books that I want to get read straight away! I did break my ban with a book thats not pictured but I will explain that below!
For Review:
I actually think I have a proof copy of the wonderful looking In Darkness from Bloomsbury already so I may keep this finished copy to give away as part of my Blogoversary in January… keep your eyes pealed… And then wow, Dark Parties… I love the look, sound and feel of you. I CANNOT wait to read this book, its been on my radar for months, since the Indigo launch party in July (not that I went but I heard awesome things!), so obviously when I was offered the book I jumped at the chance to read it!
Gifted/Borrowed:
I have amazing twitter friends, I really do! The wonderful Emma from Book Angel Booktopia carried out some book angel skills and sent me her proof copy of Liesl & Po to read. It looks amazing and I cant wait to get it read! THEN the awesome Keris, see more about her below, also sent me the Sonya Sones one as she knows I read What My Mother Doesn’t know a while ago and wanted to read the next one. Thank you lovely ladies!
UK Book Tours:
I’m reading Wonder at the minute and its amazing so far, I knew I’d have to read it as soon as I read the synopsis and from what I’ve read so far I wasn’t wrong, its beautiful. Then Au Revoir… I love the sound of this one and that title had me from the start… Emma tells me this tour only has me on it and quite frankly Im shocked, it sounds like a great book!!
Bought:
On Saturday I went to Manchester for Keris’ book signing in the Arndale Waterstones, as my copy of Della went walkabout thanks to my own silliness and Royal Mails wonderful *ahem* service, I decided I had to replace it and of course get Keris to sign it! The copy isn’t pictured though as my sister was with me in Manchester and she hasn’t read Della so naturally I thrust the new copy into her hands and said “READ, you will not be disappointed!” how kind am I?!
