In My Mailbox (#25)

In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi, The Story Siren, you probably already know that but if you don’t, go here and find out more!!

I had a very decent book week this week. I feel bad though cos Ive got very little time at the minute but Im gunna try and get as many books read as possible this week when I’m off work! Just to let you know (as some people asked last week… my dinos were already mine… they just like to pounce on my new books once a week 😉
For Review;
Justin Thyme and Thyme Running Out by Panama Oxridge
Reel Life Starring Us – Lisa Greenwald
Struts and Frets – Jon Skovron
The Strange Case of Origami Yoda – Tom Angleberger
Mister Creecher – Chris Priestley
There are some amazing titles making their way to my review TBR this week. I am very much looking forward to the Justin Thyme books, Struts and Frets and Mister Creecher! You may get double reviews of Mister Creecher and The Strange Case of Origami Yoda as I’m gunna try and get my stepson to read and review them too so I get an 11 year olds point of view! Thank you to Bloomsbury, A&C Kids and Inside Pocket for my review books this week!
Bought:
Audrey, Wait – Robin Benway
Diary of a Wimpy Kid Roderick Rules – Jeff Kinney (Not shown)
I have been drooling over the thought of Audrey, Wait! since I heard Sisterspooky Laura rave about it so I had to get it when there was a copy on Amazon marketplace for a pound! Also my stepson read the first Diary of A Wimpy Kid last weekend and he loved it so I thought I’d buy him the second in the series. Again, I’m hoping he can review them on the blog for me!
UK Book Tours/borrowed;
Eight Keys – Suzanne LaFleur
The Ice Age – Kirsten Reed
UKBT is a great site and I recommend them a lot for books you think you might like but kinda dont want to buy them just in case. Eight Keys is one of those books, I’m not sure if I’ll enjoy it but I’m gunna have a go! Also huge thank you to Susan for lending me her copy of The Ice Age, after I saw this reviewed on both Susan’s and Viv’s blogs I knew I needed to read it!
Won:
Sean Griswold’s Head – Lindsey Leavitt
The Kissing Game – Aidan Chambers
The Poison Diaries; Nightshade – Maryrose Wood and the Duchess of Northumberland

SGH is another one I’m not too sure about so I was planning on lending it from the library… however I saw a competition to win it over at Chicklish and I couldnt resist, I’ve heard great things about it so I’m looking forward to it! The Kissing Game was won direct from A&C Kids on twitter just by retweeting… I love it when publishers do things like that! Then finally nightshade was won over at Lindsay’s blog through a giveaway, I was only expecting the book so when it came with a goody bag (see pic) I was well impressed!!

So that’s my impressive mailbox this week! now I just need to race through them all! what did you get?
