Ok so, I don’t know where to start! Today saw the beginning of two AWESOME challenges. I think I’ll blow the trumpet of the longest one first (as I think it’ll be the one I actually get to the end of! Sorry Cait!).

New York Books Challenge

This is a fantastic challenge hosted by the awesome Keris Stainton over at Chicklish. The challenge it to read six YA (or MG) books which are set in New York City. I’m totally not helping myself by competing in this challenge as I really really want to go to NYC and reading books which are set there isn’t going to help but nevermind!!
The challenge runs for the next 6 months, so basically one book a month til the end of the year, and there will be a chance to win something… I’m not sure what… at the end of it! so go here and join in!
The six books I’m going to try and read are:
Jessie <3’s NYC by Keris Stainton
Nick and Norah’s Infinite playlist by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan
And a few others… I don’t actually Nick and Norah but I’ve wanted to for ages so I’m going to buy it! Then I’m not sure which others but whatever I come across will be added at a later date! πŸ˜€
30 books in 30 days

The title says it all really! Cait’s awesome challenge is to read 30 books in 30 days throughout June. It’s a crazy challenge fo someone like me who reads really quite slowly but I’m gunna give it a go. I’m going to manchester next week and hoping i get some reading time on the 40 minute journey! maybe! so yeah, lets do this thing!! To sign up to Caits challenge please visit her blog here and add your name to the linky! I can’t tell you which books I will be reading for this as I don’t know but I’m sure you will see them on my blog! πŸ™‚

  • The Slowest Bookworm

OMG 30 books in 30 days? I’ve not even read 30 books so far this year! In fact I think I just finished number 27 a few minutes ago.

Good luck with both those challenges. I’ll be popping back to see how you get on.

  • Phanee

Good luck with both of them!

I wanted to sign up for Cait’s challenge when I saw it, but then realised that I probably wouldn’t be able to do it as June is exam month for me and I will probably end up going somewhere at the end of the month. I’ll cheer you all on though! πŸ™‚

  • Clover

30 books in 30 days? I’m a bit behind on my blog reading, but it’s .. the 9th already. How is it going for you? (I’ve just checked, I’ve read 6 so far. I think it’s an incredibly hard challenge!) Good luck to you! πŸ™‚
