Bookish and Blogish news! (#3)

Happy Saturday! News a little thin this week but I thought I’d share these fews bits with you!
Maureen Johnson – The Madness Underneath cover reveal

This is the second book in the Shade of London series and the cover was revealed yesterday evening on Maureen Johnsons Tumblr account. I cant wait to read this one as I really enjoyed the first in the series!
I dont think theres any summary for it yet but its due out towards the end of the year I believe!
The wonderful (excuse the pun there!) RJ Palacio, author of Wonder, will be doing a live webchat on Monday night on the Wonder Facebook.
There will be chances to ask RJ questions about the book and her writing so if you have any questions for her head over to http://www.facebook.com/#!/wonderthebook at 6pm GMT.
Next up! Will Hill is having a public launch for his new book, Department 19: The Rising on Thursday March 29th at Waterstones Kensington High Street. Tickets can be bought in store or on the number above. You lucky Londoners, getting awesome events like this!
Remember my review of The Strange Case of Origami Yoda? Well the two book series is soon to become three but Tom Angleberger and Abrams and Chronicle want our help to work out which character should be folded next!
There’s a pool of Star Wars characters over at  www.origamiyoda.com/poll and you can choose your favourite one.
Burn Mark Cover Reveal.
Hooked On Books revealed this cover at their launch last week and I missed it out of my news but isn’t it awesome? I love the firey circle and it appears very witch-y, as the book is!
Glory is from a family of witches and lives beyond the law. She is desperate to develop her powers and become a witch herself. Lucas is the son of the Chief Prosecutor for the Inquisition – the witches’ mortal enemy – and his privileged life is very different to the forbidden world that he lives alongside.

And then on the same day, it hits them both. Glory and Lucas develop the Fae – the mark of the witch. In one fell stroke, their lives are inextricably bound together, whether they like it or not . . . (taken from Bloomsbury)

Finally, my good friend Vicky is having a blated blogoversary/new look blog giveaway! Head over to Cosy Books to enter!
