Cover Reveal: Wild Boy by Rob Lloyd Jones
This little treasure turned up on twitter and facebook yesterday, isn’t it wonderful. Published by Walker Wild Boy is due for release on April 4th and aimed at the younger YA market:
BEHOLD THE SAVAGE SPECTACLE OF THE WILD BOY – ONE PENNY A KICK! Wild Boy has been covered in hair since birth; he’s the missing link, a monster, a sideshow spectacle. Condemned to life in a travelling freakshow, excluded from society and abused by his master, he takes refuge in watching people come and go at the fair – and develops a Sherlock Holmes style talent for observation and detection. But when there’s a murder, suspicion turns on Wild Boy, and he and the feisty redhaired acrobat Clarissa Everett find themselves on the run from a London-wide manhunt. Together, the detective and the acrobat must solve clues to identify the real killer, confronting the sinister underside of scientific advancement and the darkness of Wild Boy’s own nature.

Trailer: Hidden By Marrianne Curley
This is a really great sounding book and thankfully its already on my TBR so I can read it closer to its March release day. Bloomsbury have just released the trailer below though which is making itch to read it sooner!

Cover Reveal: Ink by Amanda Sun

I am in love with this cover, its so elegant and pretty and I now cannot wait to read this book despite not ever having heard of it until I saw this cover! Ink is the first book in The Paper Gods series and will be published in June by Harlequin Teen and MiraInk.
On the heels of a family tragedy, the last thing Katie Greene wants to do is move halfway across the world. Stuck with her aunt in Shizuoka, Japan, Katie feels lost. Alone. She doesn’t know the language, she can barely hold a pair of chopsticks, and she can’t seem to get the hang of taking her shoes off whenever she enters a building.

Then there’s gorgeous but aloof Tomohiro, star of the school’s kendo team. How did he really get the scar on his arm? Katie isn’t prepared for the answer. But when she sees the things he draws start moving, there’s no denying the truth: Tomo has a connection to the ancient gods of Japan, and being near Katie is causing his abilities to spiral out of control. If the wrong people notice, they’ll both be targets.

Katie never wanted to move to Japan—now she may not make it out of the country alive.

Blog Tour: Dead Romantic by CJ Skuse

I’m part of the wonderful CJ Skuse’s blog tour to promote her fantastic new book Dead Romantic! Come back on Feburary 11th to read a never before scene which didn’t quite make the final cut!

New Feature on the blog: No Books Allowed

This is the button for a new feature I started this week called No Books Allowed:
This is my new semi-regular feature in which I discuss things I have been doing lately which don’t involve books. I’m saying semi-regular because well, I have to do stuff other than book events and read for there to be anything in this post and well other than work I rarely do that! Hopefully this feature will run monthly and talk about music, video games and other stuff.

Hopefully No Books Allowed will run monthly and after some fantastic feedback (Thanks Guys) I will be making this a meme. It will run on the last Thursday of the month so come back later this month to add your linky!

And that is all for this week I think, there are some other little bits which I have tweeted out but I don’t want to goo all information overload on you this early on a saturday morning! Have a good weekend guys!

Ooh! I’m so glad that you’re running No Books Allowed as a meme. It’s a really good idea and I’m hoping to join in. I’m also on the Dead Romantic blog tour and am really looking forward to it. 🙂
