Letterbox Love

Letterbox Love (#38)

Welcome to Letterbox Love, this is a UK meme, hosted by the lovely Lynsey at Narratively Speaking and inspired by The Story Siren’s In My Mailbox. This post is a means by which to highlight the books we get in the post and beyond, and especially to bring attention to those books which may be sat on our shelves for a little while yet that we love all the same.

Silly Tris trying to get in the pic at the last minute!
For Review:
So this was an unsolicited review copy sent from Jolly Pie who I believe are an Egmont imprint. It is the second in a series that isn’t something I would usually read, however I will be seeing if its possible to read this one on its own and if it is, I will review at some point. Thanks Egmont

Oooo Slide has been on my wishlist forever and when I was offered Imposter I knew I needed to read them. Thankfully the wonderful people at Harper Collins were able to send them both out to me. I love physiological thrillers and have heard amazing things about Vee and her story.

In addition to the Jill Hathaway books Harper Collins sent me Life After Theft, which is an awesome sounding retelling of The Scarlet Pimpernel and comes from a number 1 New York Times bestseller! I will be putting this high up on the tbr pile! I also have to say that I prefer this cover to the American, it doesn’t seem as light a read.

This one sounds really interesting as I believe it has something to do with the collapse of the bee population which is something I am slightly interested in – and something which is expected to happen in reality soon. Thanks to Bloomsbury for sending this.

Oh, I have been waiting for The Oathbreaker’s Shadow since I first heard about it last July. It is set in a fantasy – magical – world and is about a guy called Raim, which is probably going to be really hard for me to get used to! Thanks Doubleday for sending this!

I LOVE Rachel Ward… her Numbers series (although I’ve only read one and two) was fantastic and when I heard about this thriller I knew I had to read it. Thankfully an unsolicited review copy was sent through from Chicken House and I love it!
