Letterbox Love (#31)

Welcome to Letterbox Love, this is a UK meme, hosted by the lovely Lynsey at Narratively Speaking and inspired by The Story Sirens In My Mailbox, where we highlight the books we got in the post and beyond.

Some lovelies sitting around my tree this week!

For Review:
I’ve been good and have been sticking to my no book buying rule (with the exception of one for my friends daughter for Christmas!) However these lovely books arrived from the publisher this week, a couple of them I’d forgotten that I requested so they were a pleasant surprise!
The Lost Girl from Doubleday/Random House sounds brilliant, it was mentioned at the summer brunch and I knew I needed to read it as soon as I heard about it. Thanks guys!
Colin Fischer is from the guys who wrote the scripts for X-men First Class and Thor. I loved Thor and love the whole superhero thing so I think this one sounds like it could be brilliant. Thank you to Penguin for this.
Survive was unsolicited, sent from Electric Monkey. It sounds good from my initial glance but I’m holding out on saying much because I’m yet to have a proper look.
I’ve heard very mixed things about Confessions of an Angry Girl but I couldn’t resist a review copy of it, thanks MiraInk for sending this!
I hope everyone else had an awesome book week too! Can’t wait to see what you have got!
