Letterbox Love (#25)

Welcome to Letterbox Love, this is a UK meme, hosted by the lovely Lynsey at Narratively Speaking and inspired by The Story Sirens In My Mailbox, where we highlight the books we got in the post and beyond.

Dang, look at all the pretties!
For Review:
Ok so usually, I’d be super-dooper excited about the Hereville graphic novels and the lovely, yet sad sounding, Jackson Dawes, and I am excited for them, they sound great, (Thanks Abrams and Chronicle and Bloomsbury) however those books are overshadowed by the other two, I’m sorry but Wednesday had to be the best day of the year so far ever because I went and saw Amanda Palmer live (More on that in another post on another day) and then can home to find Darcy Burdock and Undone waiting for me – SQUEAL! I have been waiting since the Random House blogger brunch to read Darcy Burdock, it sounds absolutely amazing and I cant wait for it! Also, Undone… It’s Cat Clarke, come on! I LOVE Cat’s writing, and Cat is lovely too you should check her out on twitter, and I have been wanting more since finishing Torn so I cant wait to get my teeth into this one, its high on the tbr pile!! Thank you Random House and Quercus for these beauties!
Bought:
I found Truth or Dare in a charity shop and had to have it, it was cheap and its Celia Rees, early Celia Rees, so you know… nabbed. I have been meaning to get a copy of the second and third Hunger Games books for a while now and the Book People had an awesome deal on the trilogy so I bought that. I already have the first but I’ll donate my copy to charity or something
Anyway, thats my mailbox. Sorry I missed last weeks but I was very close to death with a sickness bug that kicked my ass for a good 48 hours, all better now though! Hope you’re having a great weekend and I look forward to seeing your books!
