Letterbox Love (#14): The ‘oh, crap, how’d that happen?!’ edition

Hey! Welcome to Letterbox Love, this is a UK meme, hosted by the lovely Lynsey at Narratively Speaking and inspired by The Story Sirens In My Mailbox, where we highlight the books we got in the post and beyond!!
So yesterday I went to London…. On top of the fair few review books I got during the week I won a goodie bag from Foyles, got gifted one book and bought two books… this is EVERYTHING I got all week and most of it was from yesterday, how lucky am I! And yes, that is my ENTIRE bed (which is a double may I add!) Also say hi to Ben, he’s my oldest loveliest teddy bear… he isn’t a dino but I love him still…
So I’ll talk you thought the bits of swag and then go onto the books below.
In the foyles goodie bag was two posters, one for Alexandra Harvey’s books and one for the Hush Hush series. I got badges, bookmarks, postcards, magnets, an actual Electric Monkey bag and an Antony Horrowitz tee! I also got a necklace from the wonderful Zoe Marriott and some really cool origami bookmarks! The bag was never ending with goodies but theres too many just for me alone so some of this stuff may wing its way to you guys with prizes from giveaways!
Now for the actual books! (all links go to goodreads and, where a person is mentioned, blogs)
For review:
Thank you MiraInk and Electric Monkey! I am so happy with Revived because it has a quote from my blog in it for Cat’s previous book Forgotten!! 😀
Prize pack from HarperCollins for being part of the Dauntless team:
Insurgent – Veronica Roth (signed US Hardback)
Carnival mask (barely visable because of bad lighting.)
Thank you Harper Collins! I squealed when I saw that beautiful copy of Insurgent, but it means I’m going to have to get the matching US Hardback of Divergent now!
Gifted:
Huge thanks to Bethan for sending me Going Bovine and Emma for asking her to! I cant wait to start it! Also huge thanks to Casey for Stormdancer!!

Bought:
Both of these were signed by the lovely authors while I was at Foyles. I was only planning on buying Unrest but when I saw what Haunters was about I knew I needed that too!
In the bag from Foyles:
Samplers of Angel and Angel Fury by L A Weatherly and The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater
Both Love, Inc and Witch Crag have been on my wishlist for ages so I was sooo happy when I opened the bag to find these! I also got Breathe by Sarah Crossan but as I’d received a copy of that from the publisher I gave it to someone else at the event!
  • WOW, awesome haul!!! Dying to read What’s Left of Me and hope they send me a copy!!
