MacMillan signs Rainbow Rowell

Rainbow Rowell has been on my radar for ages now and she is definitely an author I want to check out, however one of the main reasons linked to why I haven’t yet it because her books aren’t published in the UK. Thankfully Macmillan have decided to change this and have signed up to publish her newest book, Fangirl, in February next year.
If you can’t or wont wait for the paperback though do no fear! The publishers will also be releasing the ebook to coincide with the US hardback release of Fangirl on September 10th!
You can read an interview with Rainbow Rowell on the My Kinda Book website.

The next book, Shattered has as striking and beautiful a cover as these two and you can see it over on the Jess Hearts Books blog now
Also, Jess has an awesome giveaway where you can win either the first or second book, this ends on Thursday next week so head on over soon for your chance to win!

Buy Now; Hey Kids, Comics!

So I usually don’t really give a shout out to self published books or even a proper shout out to traditionally published books on their release day, however this book looks special and I think it deserves all the publicity it can get.
Hey Kids, Comics! is a non fiction title full of anecdotes from comic book legends, authors, journalists and more all about comics and how they changed their lives. I believe it all started with a podcast and Rob Kelly is one of the guys who did the podcast, but however it started it sounds incredible and sounds like a must for any comic book lover!
Its an American book but has been put up on Amazon UK so head on over there to check it out.

  • I’m so glad Fangirl is being published over here – I want to find out what the fuss about Rainbow Rowell is all about!
