Noble Conflict by Malorie Blackman Trailer

I just finished this book, just last night… and let me tell you now, if this trailer doesn’t make you want it, my review will. It is incredible, I love Malorie Blackman’s work and I couldn’t fault Noble Conflict. The trailer works brilliantly for the book and if it makes you fancy giving it a read, you can buy it from next Thursday, or pre-order it online now!

The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon trailer

This is an adult title from Bloomsbury but I think it has great crossover appeal and am very interested in it. The Bone Season is a deubt novel from Samantha Shannon, is the first in a seven book series and comes out in August. The film is already optioned by Andy Serkis’ film production company… and if you don’t know how Andy Serkis is, shame on you; google is your friend!

The Tales of Fayt by Conrad Mason trailer

I LOVE this series and this trailer is a great indication of what goes on in the books without them being spoilt for the person watching. I would recommend this series to anyone who loves 9-12 fantasy because it really is just fantastic. The first two books from the series are already out and you can see my reviews for them here and here. Lets hope there are more to come from Conrad Mason after these though!

On a blog note, I just wanted to share a couple of things with you my dear readers. First of all I like to include links to pages where you can buy the books I review online, until recently the only page I shared was Amazon as it is a popular book buying site, however I knew that not everyone agrees with their policies or likes the site so I was looking for another place to link to as well… I have made a choice to link to Hive which is a more indie supported website and I hope that this choice is a good one for all, I am personally trying to buy more through Hive myself and if you want to check it out please do so here.
Also, I may be a bit more absent on the blog than I have been known to be from now on. I have taken up a second job of sorts and because of this I am finding I am having less time to read and blog. I am trying to not feel guilty for this but feel I owe an explanation… obviously I will try not to take long periods of time off but if the odd day goes without a post or this news post doesn’t go live this is why.

Thank you for reading and I hope you all have a lovely weekend!

  • I love the sound of The Bone Season and the trailer really has me intrigued. I’m definitely going to be keeping an eye out for it now.

    Thanks for sharing! 🙂

  • So glad to hear you loved Noble Conflict! I was a little disappointed by Noughts and Crosses so I’m hoping this one will allow me to join the Malorie Blackman fan club 🙂
