Legacy (Night School #2) by CJ Daugherty
I love this one, I loved the cover for the first book which is currently sat unread on my TBR shelf but this is even better. The way the girls hair stands out so vividly against the white and grey of the building and its surroundings is magical! This one will be out in January, released by Atom, check out the goodreads summarybut please note it may contain spoilers from the first book:
In the last year, Allie's survived three arrests, two breakups and one family breakdown. The only bright point has been her new life at Cimmeria Academy. It's the one place she's felt she belongs. And the fact that it's brought the dreamy Carter West into her life hasn't hurt...But far from being a safe haven, the cloistered walls of Cimmeria are proving more dangerous than Allie could've imagined. The students, and faculty, are under threat and Allie's family - from her mysterious grandma to her runaway brother - are at the centre of the storm. Allie is going to have to choose between protecting her family and trusting her friends. But secrets have a way of ripping even the strongest relationships apart...
Fractured (Slated #2) by Teri Terry
Again the first book had a fantastic cover and I adored the content so I'm really excited for this one. The cover is beautiful and the model's eyes really stare out at you. I cant wait to read this one when it comes out in May next year from Hatchette. I have included the summary below but please note it may contain spoilers from the first book!
Kyla's memory has been erased,
her personality wiped blank,
her memories lost for ever.
Or so she thought.
Kyla shouldn't be able to remember anything. But she can - and she's beginning to realise that there are a lot of dark secrets locked away in her memories. When a mysterious man from her past comes back into her life, she thinks she's on her way to finding the truth. But the more she learns about her history, the more confusing her future becomes...
Set in a disturbing future world, FRACTURED is an engrossing, fast-paced read that establishes Teri Terry as a master thriller writer.
And that's it from me. Remember I'll be back tomorrow for my Letterbox Love but then I'm handing over to some guest post-ers for the rest of the week! Have a good one!
