In My Mailbox (#11)

In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi, The Story Siren, you probably already know that but if you don't, go here and find out more!!

You get double the dinosaurs this week! As I got so many books I couldn't put them all in one picture! I was going to do a vlog, which I managed to record on my phone but then couldn't upload cos I suck at technology so sorry about that!! And also sorry about the sucky pictures.. It was getting late and I wanted to go to bed!
Anyway, I went to the Northern Book Blogger meet up organised by Vicki at Heaven, Hell and Purgatory and it was ace, met some lovely people even if there was only 5 of us! hope to do it again some time!! :D and this is why I have so many books this week, so without further ado....

For Review
Tempest Rising - Tracy Deebs
The Tales of Terror from the Black Ship - Chris Priestley
The Tales of Terror from the Tunnels Mouth - Chris Priestly
Many thanks to the wonderful people over at Bloomsbury for these books. I only just started reviewing for them and when I emailed the other day I mentioned that I reviewed Uncle Montague's Tales of Terror and loved it (review here) and asked if I could possibly have just one of the other two books, and they sent me both!! YAY!

Giveaway:
Trash - Andy Mulligan
I won this over at Mostly Reading YA which is a great site, please go visit if you haven't already!

Gifted/Borrowed:
Forgotten - Cat Patrick
Finding Sky - Joss Stirling
The Dark Devine - Bree Despain
Angel - LA Weatherly
These were gifted by the wonderful Vicki, when I met her at the Northern Book Blogger meet up on Saturday!
Vampire Academy - Richelle Mead
This was leant to me by the lovely Cait from The Cait Files, also when I met her on Saturday!

Bought
One Seriously Messed Up Week in the Otherwise Mundane and Uneventful life of Jack Samsonite - Tom Clempson
Here Lies Bridget - Paige Harbison
Boys Dont Cry - Malorie Blackman
Just Listen - Sarah Dessen
Sisters Red - Jackson Pearce
All of these were bought in Waterstones at the meet up. I'm terrible I know but I havent had a huge blow out on books for ages so I don't feel too bad! Plus Sisters Red is technically not "to read" as I've already read it but it was a library copy and I loved it so much that I had to buy my own copy! It will get read though... at least once as I'm lending it to my sister! hehe
Blubber - Judy Blume
This one is for a feature, hopefully, but it may be a while until the feature is up and running so we'll see!

Anyway. That's my HUGE mailbox this week. I hope you enjoy! look out for my reviews hopefully coming soon (she says not thinking about the HUGE TBR pile in the bedroom that also needs reading!)

What did you get in your mailbox this week?!

I'm glad you had such a great time at The Northern Blogger Meet-up but from the amount of books you came back with, I'm not surprised!

I loved Sisters Red too - I really need to buy it at some point.

Boys don't cry ... is it the book that has been turned to a movie with Hilary Swank? Or am I mistaking?

Lots of books this week!

Lots of these I have never even heard of. I'll have to look them up!

Sisters Red sounds so good. I've been wanting to read that one for a while.

Have you read any of the Vampire Academy books yet? I thought the first one was just ok, but then they just got better and better. I love that series.

Lots of books this week! I love it when I have a good splash out on books (which happens 2-3 times a year)! You definitely should not feel bad about it!

Some of the books you got, I am really looking forward to reading sometime myself: One Seriously Messed Up Week, The Dark Divine, Boys Don't Cry...

Hope you enjoy all the books you got this week! Happy reading! Bet they'll keep you going for quite some time! :)
